Mr. Arijit Sil has done his schooling from Sanskrit Collegiate School, Kolkata and has graduated from Calcutta University and completed M. Tech. in the Dept. of CSE of NITTTR, Kolkata. Professionally, before getting associated to Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, he has worked as a lecturer in the Dept. of CSE of IIIT, Banipur.

After completing Master’s Degree from West Bengal University of Technology, Salt Lake, Ms. Nabanita Bhattacharya joined Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology in the year 2007. Before joining to this institute, she has also worked with ICFAI for a short period of time.

Ms. Bhattacharya has been awarded with a title “ISTQB-ISEB certified tester foundation level” by UK testing board.

Her hobbies include reading, travelling and listening to music.

Image Processing, Data mining and Swarm Intelligence.

Current Research Activities:

She is currently working in the field of Image segmentation and Swarm intelligence.

He has obtained B.Tech. in Information Technology from Kalyani University in 2003 and M.Tech. in Software Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology in 2006. He received silver medal in his M.Tech. course from the honorable Governor of West Bengal. He has the teaching experience of 11 years in UG & PG engineering courses. Farewell 2016

The 3rd year IT along with the collaboration of 2nd year IT students, hosted a Farewell event for the IT 4th years on 23 rd May, 2016. The event started from 2pm and lasted till 6:30 pm. It took place in the 1st year seminar hall. Performances were presented by the IT 3rd years, and some were presented by the 4th year students as well. A grand feast was provided for all the occupants of the Farewell event. This was attended by some of the faculty members of the IT department as well.

Pabitra Pramanik (4th year IT) achieved the '2nd Runner's up' position in the " NASSCOM 10,000 Startups in association with IBM Presents IDEA HACK - Mobile Apps with Bluemix - West Bengal PaaS and Cloud Computing Meetup " competition, held in 21st and 22nd August,2015 at NASSCOM's warehouse located in Kolkata’s Salt Lake Sector V (WEBEL Bhavan in
Saltlake,sector v).

Pabitra along with his other team-mates developed an android application named "QuickDoc" for the patients in their emergency conditions.
